Face Plate Installation Guide
If you purchased a Modded Plus + or got your own modded by Fuzzy after September 2025 your Plus + has the Ditto Mod. If you got your device prior to that date, reach out to Fuzzy, you will need to send in your device to get Ditto Mod added. The Ditto Mod modifies the body and the internals of the Plus + giving you the freedom to swap the faceplate and center button whenever you want.
The Image shows a non Ditto Mod Plus +. One of the electrical boards is attached to the faceplate making it difficult and potentially risking damaging the device and your other mods.
The image shows a modded Plus + with the Ditto Mod included. The Ditto mod connects everything to the main body allowing the user to swap the faceplate and center button without touching any of the electronics.

Removing the Faceplate/Button
Removing the faceplate is straightforward but you should be careful as electronics parts are sensitive.
The first step is to remove the screws next to the charging port. Apply a decent amount of pressure to the screws while unscrewing them to make sure you do not strip the screw.

By removing the screws, the faceplate will slightly lift up showing a gap so you can pry it off.

When looking at the device from the front, having the charging port pointing down there's a hinge clip on the top right. You will want to open following the direction of the image below. Don't force it off, you might have to giggle the faceplate a little to get it off but should be pretty smooth.

Congrats you have removed your faceplate.
Installing the Faceplate/Button
Putting things back together will be similar to taking it apart but with a couple more steps.

First you want to place the button inside the faceplate matching the groves. Place the button sleeve so it covers the button and the grooves on the faceplate, if the sleeve is a bit loose don't worry too much about it.

Now you want to place the faceplate and main body next to each other. Remember the hinge clip will need to be the first thing to go together. (Look for the copper ribbon cable)

Depending on how loose the button sleeve is you might want to keep the faceplate faced down while trying to put them together. This will make sure the Button/Sleeve are aligned correctly.

Afterwards you will need to put a little pressure on some sections to make sure the clips are secure. Put pressure on area 1,2 and 3 (Those sections have the other faceplate clips that need to clip on to the body). You don't need to apply too much pressure, a little squeeze should be enough. If you notice gaps specially on the bottom side by the usb port don't worry it will go away when you screw the plate together. (That gap is intended to make it easier to remove the plate after removing screws)

The last step is to screw the plate together. Always apply the screw on the right side of the device (the one on the right side of the USB port when looking at the front of the device). Apply a little pressure to make sure the screw hole is aligned. When screwing DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN , should be snug both original faceplate and 3d customs faceplates can easily strip.

Finally do the same for the right screw hole and you have swapped out your faceplate.
